This was probably the hardest of them all, I was not prepared for this and forgot things. I am annoyed about it and after waking up in the middle of the night with the OMG I forgot to do this and that, I contacted the consultant who helped us, not even 12hours after our selection appointment and it was too late to add anything without it costing us an arm and a leg! doesn't seem fair somehow I think because this is not something we do every day we should have a cooling off period or an adjustment time.
Things I forgot are the pretty lights on the piers on the front of the house ....How I forgot still baffles me.
I wanted a downlight in our toilet and another in the picture nook at the end of the hall. again where was my head that day
And last but not least after much discussion about the TV area's I said to our consultant about the HDMI for the TV area ( as we chose the package for those areas to mount the TV ) yes thats included and yes this is my fault, I should checked to see how many HDMI points were included. It would have been nice if she had of said there is only 1 HDMI especially after I was rabbiting on about the wii, blu ray, apple TV and Fetch TV having to be connected!
Apart from that we got everything we needed, down lights in the kitchen, heat/fans bathrooms, exhaust fans in the laundry and toilet, a sensor light in the pantry, and an alarm system....I am sure (HOPING) that to fix the above won't be too hard. the lights on the front of the house might be difficult but we can always get solar lights ....
So make sure you are better prepared than I was, and happy shopping with your electrical's!
