We are just waiting on our final inspection, bank valuation and we will be finished with the building part, Wow I can't believe how quickly this has gone. We a currently trying to organise the Driveway, More paperwork for the council! Hopefully the Concreter can fit us in before Christmas and it stops raining so we can have it done! At this stage we are unsure as to wether we can get an interim certificate without the driveway, which means the bank won't pay until we have the certificate so no keys before christmas. Here are some photos of the house at this stage .

Coming along nicely....
It has been a while since my last post, so much has happened since then! Everything seems to be flowing along nicely. The weather at the moment is a little bit on the shitty side, however the rain has held off enough that they are still able to work. The Bricklayer's started yesterday, hopefully the rain will stay away long enough for them to finish, and for the roof to be put on.
I am amazed at how much they have managed to get done in just over a month!
We met up with our site supervisor Wayne yesterday, he seems like a top bloke! Wayne explained everything to us, showed us around and put my mind at ease over the whole process of us getting our timber floors laid, although we are still unsure as to whether the floor is being laid before the kitchen or after, I am pretty sure he said that the tiles in the wet areas are done before the timber floors, so that way we can have the timber at the same height as the tiles (No NASTY step to stub my toe on), I will confirm when we do our next walk through. The timber floors are laid after the gyprock has been done, and then McDonald Jones finish off the architraves and door jambs, and we will get them polished after we receive the KEYS........ Not long now, they say mid January, I say March...I like to allow for delays :) I try not to think too much about it as even though 7 months could fly like that, it could very well be the longest 7 months of my life (well other than being pregnant).
So enough of the boring stuff here are some photo's
